MICHELE QUICK

MICHELE QUICK, CCR, RMR, CRR, has been a working Certified Court Reporter for 24 years.  She graduated 1st in her class at Cittone Institute in 1991 and, upon graduation, passed the state exam to become a NJ Certified Court Reporter.  In 1993, she became a Registered Professional Reporter, then went on to achieve the status of Registered Merit Reporter in 2001, the most difficult and highest certification in the field.  She didn't stop there...she went on to obtain her Certified Realtime Reporter certification in 2005.  Michele is a member of the National Court Reporters Association and the Certified Court Reporters Association of NJ.  Due to her love of the profession, Michele proudly volunteers to attend high school career days to introduce high school students to the profession of court reporting.  She lives in North Jersey but works throughout the entire State of NJ and will occasionally travel out of state as well.  She is proficient in reporting board meetings,  arbitrations, medical malpractice cases and expert-witness testimony.  While working as a full-time Court Reporter, Michele attended college at night and on weekends and has attained an Associate of Science in Social Services from Essex County College and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from William Paterson University, again graduating 1st in her class at both institutions.

Michele uses her educational experience in her various volunteer endeavors, including working with and advocating for adults and children with special needs.  She has also fostered five children through the State of NJ over the years, each one holding a special place in her heart, in addition to having one biological son.  Although the foster children have all been reunited with their biological families, Michele has an ongoing relationship with and is a mentor to some of them to this day and continues to advocate for them and all children in foster care.
